Chef Lori Terry has been a personal chef to top executives and busy families throughout Chicago and the northern suburbs since 2003. She specializes in creating healthy eating experiences for those that love good food but also need help with portion control and understanding what healthful food choices they have.
Prior to becoming a chef, Lori was a strategic account manager and sales representative for six years after receiving an accounting degree from Virginia Tech. Once she realized that she was spending way-to-much-time planning menus for dinner parties, recipe testing and food knowledge obsessing, she decided to become an entrepreneur and personal chef.
Chef Lori has had the honor of being a guest chef judge of cooking competitions at The Kenmore Live Studio as well as produced cooking demonstrations at Kenmore and Macy's on State Street. In addition to teaching in-home cooking classes for small groups, Lori also offers kitchen organizing sessions and kitchen design advice. Throughout the year, Lori is honored to donate private dinner parties to auctions benefiting charities she is passionate about.
Lori has been a member of The American Personal and Private Chef Association since 2003 and carries personal chef liability insurance.
